Surface Departure #3

This is the third of a series of three dimensional wall quilts. I worked with patterns from my shibori silk designs. I then digitized the fabric and manipulated it in a design and printed on polyester. My immersion dyed cottons are then combined with these computer fabrics. Extensive quilting, even under the 3 dimensional level, embellishes the work.
