Surface Departure #2

This is the second of a series of three dimensional wall quilts. I work with shibori patterns from my silk shibori designs. I then digitize the fabric and manipulate it in a design and print on polyester. My immersion dyed cottons are then combined with these computer fabrics, and extensive quilting, even under the 3 dimensional level embellishes the work.
