| 44.5" w. x 37.5" h. Inspired by the Beetles song, "Strawberry Fields Forever", the composition for this image came in June during strawberry picking time, though I had thought about the idea for a year. I went to the local pick-your-own strawberry field for some ideas of what a strawberry field would look like. Disperse dyed polyester transfers machine appliqued on a silk dye painted background that includes the table cloth, the field and the sky. The strawberries were also placed within the text of the border, which is also a polyester computer fabric I created. Machine quilted, glass beads (for the strawberry seeds).
