Sometimes You Feel Like a Nut

The squirrels that live in the woods outside my family room window fascinate me, and are often the subject of my photography. I so wanted to get one eating a nut so I could do this quilt, and finally, I got one on a post on the fence. Later I found a great fall background scene, and picked up and scanned some of the fall leaves from a maple tree near the post.
Disperse dyed polyester fabrics printed by the artist. Machine appliqued, machine pieced, trapunto, machine quilted.
