Red Hibiscus
I have a red hibiscus tree in my sun room, and it surprises us by going through cycles of blooming and not. It's fleeting blossoms always attract my camera. I combined he flower with my shibori discharge fabric. This piece is a small one that framed by mounting on stretcher bars.
Disperse dyed polyester, discharged cotton. Machine appliqued and quilted. Framed.
