Presentation Rose

A rose from our garden made the perfect focal point for one of my shibori experiments in silk which was scanned onto my computer and manipulated together with the flower in photoshop. Disperse dyed polyester. Machine quilted and machine appliqued. Two layers of wool batting give a trapunto effect with the flower.
