My Last Birthday

Like Jack Benny, I don't feel I've aged since I was 39, so I chose to depict the last birthday I felt that I was getting older. This quilt was made for a traveling display of quilts by art quilters on the theme "It's My Birthday". My husband and I celebrate it together as we have for many years.
Machine appliqued, machine quilted. Disperse dyed polyester transfers on black commercial fabric.
