Hermosa Poppies

I photographed oriental poppies that were growing in a pot in Hermosa Beach, CA and then combined the imagery with a shibori silk fabric image that I created a few years ago. Disperse dyed polyester front, cotton back, two types of wool batting were used. Machine appliqued and extensively machine quilted.
