Fringe Elements #4: Copper & Air

Framed abstract piece, the 4th in a series using fringe from all my hand dyed fabrics and featuring polymer clay. The colors of the series represent one of the metallic elements combined with the primitive 4 "elements" that make up the matter that everything was thought to be made up of, namely water, fire, earth and air. Machne pieced and machne quilted. Hand dyed cotton & disperse dyed lame fabrics and fringe with mokume gane polymer clay to match.
