Fibonacci Sunflowers

Sunflowers come in so many interesting forms and shapes. I wanted to combine my op-art work of the 1970's with images of sunflowers. The machine quilting is in concentric circles starting with each flower's central section of pistols and stamens. Machine appliqued and machine pieced cotton and polyester fabrics hand dyed by the artist.
