Facing Passing Time;
Dancing Between the Semicolons

30" w. x 26.5" h.
This quilt was created to satisfy two challenges presented in 2001. The first, the Lonni Rossi Challenge was to create a quilt based on the fabric by Lonni Rossi created with a "Dancing Between the Semicolons" theme. The second one was a challenge for my local art quilt group's October 2001 show in the Hoxie Gallery in the Westerly, RI Library. Since our group is Fiber Artists on the Cutting Edge, we decided to each do a quilt on the FACEing... theme. Time seems to be a big theme in our studio, since each of these clocks depicted on the quilt were found in our home or studio, and I still left out all our digital clocks! The clocks are my disperse dyed polyester fabrics, while the other fabrics are cottons by Lonni Rossi. The Lonni Rossi Challenge will be traveling to various locations during 2002.
