Floral Symphony #8:
Erythrina

38 1/2" w. x 32" h.
I saw an unusual flower on small trees in California, and had to do a quilt about it, but I didn't find out that it was called Erythrina until the quilt was finished. Techniques include trapunto, disperse dyed polyester, silk painting, machine applique and machine quilting. All fabrics by the artist.
