Floral Symphony #1:
Lilies of the Field
This is the first quilt in my floral series, and was inspired by a photograph I took of lilies growing in farmland in Ohio in 1995. The quilt appeared in the Jan/Feb Quilter's News letter Magazine in 1999, p. 23 and was featured in the catalogue for Quilts in Bloom which was held in 1999 in Mainau Germany at the Mainau Castle. Cotton and polyester fabrics by the artist with some commercial fabric, machine pieced, appliqued, and quilted.
